TWR Canada is reaching millions every day in more than 220 languages and dialects around the globe equipping believers, and teaching leaders about Christ.
TWR Canada shares the Gospel through radio, television, Internet and web-based radio programs using cutting edge technology. Our programs teach the Gospel and address regional advocacy issues.
TWR Canada offers mission opportunities around the world in a variety of technical and non-technical positions for all ages, expertise, and experience levels.
Volunteer service may be short or long term. We have volunteers of all ages helping out in a variety of ways in our offices, at events, and on the mission field. Missions trip groups can also volunteer to visit TWR sites and help with larger projects missionaries might be unable to complete due to insufficient resources or workers.
Discovery Trips are 4 weeks to 5 months in length and offer the opportunity to meet real needs, and often fill in for missionaries on furlough. Trips vary depending on current needs, but potential locations include: Guam, Swaziland, Bonaire, Austria, South Africa, Slovakia, Benin, Singapore, the Netherlands, North Carolina, and Quebec.
Internships last 4 to 12-weeks, offer class credit, and on-the-job training related to their field of interest/study. TWR will complete required internship paperwork, provide on-site transportation, and housing. Available internship positions vary from year to year with possible assignment locations including Austria, Benin, Canada, the Caribbean, South Africa, Slovakia, and the United States (Cary, NC). Interns must have a minimum of 2 years of post-secondary level study or equivalent work experience, and raise support (usually between $3,000 and $5,000 which includes the intern's pay, taxes, rent, and round trip airfare).

Short Term openings last from 6months to 2 years. These assignments will expose you to international cultures, work within or expand your passions and training, explore the possibility of full-time mission work, and change lives. Opportunities for meaningful field work are usually possible.
Full-time Missionaries have been, and continue to be, a vital part of the TWR Canada ministry. TWR Canada currently has 13 full-time missionaries with an additional 40 missionaries associated with or partially funded by Canadians.
Mission Spotlight
Kirk Baskin grew up in Quebec and is fluent in both English and French. After earning a Bachelor of Arts in biblical studies and radio broadcasting from Moody Bible Institute, he joined a TWR discovery trip to Johannesburg, South Africa for 2.5 months in 2010. He learned how TWR broadcasts in Africa, received training in radio production, and organized and coordinated a production training event for locals in remote locations. Kirk is now serving with TWR Canada in Johannesburg, South Africa.
