The first prayer group began with the prayer calendar focusing on abortion. At this weekly gathering, women invited their neighbours and friends. After the praise and worship, they prayed for the issues in the calendar, for their country and then for themselves. When the meeting was dismissed, a woman came to the prayer group leader and sincerely thanked her for the invitation. She then told her story.
She was a Christian, but life was very tough; home was so hard. She had children, and now she was pregnant again. She had decided she could not keep this baby. A friend had given her approximately one month’s salary to buy medicine that would terminate the pregnancy. She had taken the medicine the week before, but nothing happened. The next day she was going to try again, but because of the invitation to the prayer group, she heard the Word of God and decided to keep the baby, trusting God to help and provide for them. She was so thankful, thanking the prayer group leader for perhaps saving her life. Today the prayer group calls that baby girl their "Baby Hannah."

A very young girl became pregnant and was then forced to get married. She was very poor and alone. Her new husband treated her like an animal. She did everything in the house, served him and was forced to call him "Mister." He’d leave for work, put money on the table and tell her it was for their child, and she was to take care of herself.
When she became pregnant with another child, he became angry, blaming her. They continued to share the same home, but his anger persisted; he beat her, abused her, did whatever he wanted to her. When her parents died, he didn’t even go to their funerals. When he traveled for his job, he left money on the table and disappeared; she didn’t know where he was or when he’d be back. She became depressed.
One day, after many days of not sleeping, she became very depressed and left the house naked. She ended up in the hospital, and her husband was called. He didn’t even reply; he didn’t come to get her. She was suffering deeply. She heard TWR's broadcasts and came to talk about what had happened. She didn't know what to do. She wanted to end her life. Everybody told her to pray to Jesus, but she ended up in false churches where they didn’t take care of her.
Finally in desperation, she went to the studio to speak directly with Macy. She met with Macy, told her story and asked Macy to pray with her and tell her what to do. She had no relatives and no where to go. Macy held her, cried with her and called out to Jesus, asking Him for wisdom and to do something for this desperate woman. As they cried and prayed together, Macy told her that if she went home, Jesus would meet her there. She then asked her to do something very difficult: forgive her husband.
The woman returned home. Two days later, she called Macy excitedly saying, “God must be there because He heard me! Mister came home. I forgave him. Now he is talking to me and is kind to me!” Macy told her more about Jesus: that He alone could change her life and give her hope. Today this woman is a believer and listens to the Woman of Hope program every week. She has found a church, is happy with her husband. She is alive today. This is a miracle! She found joy! She found hope!

One of the prayer group member’s husbands had a stroke and was paralyzed. He could not move by himself for a long time. After a time of intercession at the Project Hannah prayer group, the movements started coming back to some parts of his body. Now he can move alone with a little difficulty. Praise the Lord that he doesn’t need to be lifted up any more.

"I spoke to my husband about the Hannah ministry but he could not understand it. One day we listened to the WoH program. After that he accepted my being part of the Hannah ministry. Now I can learn more about the ministry and be encouraged with hope in my life."
---
"I like listening to your program, although is it broadcast only one day a week. WoH is very good and useful because I learn how to treat my husband and my family as well."
---
"Prayer is power!" That was Mrs. J’s testimony: "I have been a church member and leader for years, but now I feel my life changing since I joined the Hannah ministry. I know that I am special to Him because He is taking care of me and my family."

“I don’t like to miss a single program of WoH, but sometimes because of the distance between the workplace and my house, I don’t listen to it and I feel sorry about that, because the program helps me a lot. Your program is a blessing, not only for the Christians but for those who are not Christians. It is a program that creates hope, strength and a desire to search for God.”
---
“I accepted Christ through the WoH program. I am a regular listener from the Catholic Church. The program deals with issues that bring hope. This is why I called the team, and they told me about the love of God for me. Please, do pray for my health and my family.”
---
“Your program brings me relief, peace and comfort to my heart. I am a mother of 10 sons and my husband left home. Sometimes I do not have anything to give to my children, but as I listen to the WoH program my strength is renewed for the next day.”
