Macy Domingo is the captivating woman behind Project Hannah in West Africa. As Project Hannah's National Coordinator in Côte d'Ivoire and the Women of Hope French program producer, God is using her and her team to reach countless women in West Africa.

As an international professional radio and television producer for more than 20 years, Macy is well-known and well-respected. For a long time, she has desired to see a ministry serving the women of Africa because she believes that the women of Africa need hope. Macy believes Project Hannah is God's answer as the Women of Hope broadcasts tell women that they are loved unconditionally by Jesus. Through Project Hannah, they are given the hope they so desperately need.

In 2006 the prayer ministry of Project Hannah began in Côte d'Ivoire, and today there are about 100 prayer groups active in and around the city! The Women of Hope broadcasts began airing in July 2007. Today, these broadcasts are on the air in Abidjan on four stations, only one of which is a Christian station. Macy is confident that the remaining stations will also begin airing the broadcasts. Another broadcast, called "Testimonies," is also aired. This 30-minute national program is made up of true testimonies of the people of West Africa.

Every two months, a team of Project Hannah prayer group leaders ministers in hospitals, prisons, and to the homeless. On the alternate months, another group of about ten leaders carries out an evangelistic outreach in a new area. These women are actively being the hands and feet of Jesus ... and they are inviting people to become part of Project Hannah, where they can learn practical life lessons and learn about the transforming love of Jesus Christ.

The week prior to Christmas, one of these groups went into a very poor neighbourhood. Macy and two singers-all three well-known in Africa-joined the team as they invited people to a church service the next day. They entered homes, gave out tracts and shared the message of Jesus. Each person who made a profession of faith was given a Bible.

That Saturday evening, the First Lady of Côte d'Ivoire asked Macy if she knew of some poor churches that she could supply with food. Perfect! Macy shared the experience of that afternoon and the great needs there. The First Lady then supplied rice and meat for everyone in the area-they now had food for Christmas! These people were very touched that the First Lady of their country thought of them and served them in this practical way. The next morning, approximately 100 people came to the church service, and 80 gave their souls to the Lord!!! This is just one example of how Project Hannah is having an impact on this country.

In a report, Macy shared that, "The Lord is so good to us. There are many more testimonies going back to the beginning: testimonies of the Lord's deliverance through healing, restoring families, helping single moms with their children, opening doors, giving small business opportunities to widows and feeding the poor."

We join in praising God for the work He is doing! Pray that He will continue to work through Project Hannah to produce lasting fruit in the young girls and women of West Africa.
