China Ministries
Our new China ministry expands the TWR ministry impact, and gives further opportunity to reach a global Chinese audience. In 2011 we opened a new China ministry office in Toronto to facilitate this growing ministry. The ministry includes church leadership training (SOTA program), a short-term missions program sending local Chinese workers to critical regions within China, and Radio Organic Live, a 24 hour a day program available on the Internet and through smart phones providing interactive content in Mandarin and Cantonese.
Seminary On The Air (SOTA)
SOTA is an intensive church leadership training program intended to train nationals to preach and teach through a combination of radio broadcasts, lessons on CD/DVD, sermons, student meetings, and personal interaction with instructors. TWR is committed to promoting and building up the SOTA program in mainland China.

Chinese Internet Radio
There are reportedly 277 million mobile Web users in China, and roughly 49 million of those Web users access the Internet exclusively through mobile devices. China continues to dominate and drive the mobile Web market. Two-thirds of China's population is under 40 years, and this generation uses the Internet to connect to each other, and the world.
The Internet has become the most popular media and communication tool for young people, and whether they are at school studying, at the coffee shop with friends, or at home in bed, they demand access without boundaries. New technologies allow us to broadcast radio-like programs that can be streamed or downloaded at the listener's convenience to any Internet-ready device any time, anywhere.
Radio Organic
Radio Organic is a unique interactive web-based radio program reaching a global Chinese audience. With over 15,000 listeners a day to the Cantonese and Mandarin language programs, Radio Organic is intended to reach a younger Internet-savvy generation with the Gospel.
With a global network of volunteers creating content, the Toronto team does the final editing and posting to the website. This format is unique because of the interactivity of the programs. With live discussion groups, on-air counseling, testimonies from listeners, a wide variety of music hosted by Christian young people, and the audio blog segments, Radio Organic has become a 'cyber missionary.'
Short Term Mission Opportunities
Open to students of Chinese descent living in Canada, individuals will have the opportunity to share the Gospel with friends and relatives, and work closely with established and emerging women's, children's, youth, holistic or oral ministries in China. Pastors are invited to participate in training church leaders.
